Week 18 Missions

No homework this week from me. Good luck on your Midterms! You don't even need luck; it's just a nice thing to say to people.

ELA 3

Nothing.

ELA 4

Nothing. And by nothing, I mean study for your MIDTERMS.

HOWEVER...

I will be collecting your Journals and grading entries randomly. The entries I grade will come with feedback you need to use for your re-write due next week. More details to follow in class.

AND ALSO:

ELA 5 Career Missions:

For this round of Career Missions, I need you to write a proposal for what you would like to research and present in class. Again, I will speak to each of you individually throughout the week to help you with your proposal and brainstorm ideas.

AND BEFORE I FORGET:

The 2016 Scholastic Book Project Competition is just around the corner. I already have one team of four interested in the competition. Each team needs a WRITER, an ILLUSTRATOR, an EDITOR, and a RESEARCHER. Any team from any grade (3-5) is eligible. See me for details, rules, and a copy of the contest entry form!

ONE LAST THING:

The Speech Bee is coming up and I am confident that the winner of this competition is sitting in my fifth grade class. This competition is for grades 5-8 only. If you are interested, I am personally committed to seeing you through to the fruition of your finest hour as a budding orator.

5th. Grade Mr. Robles believes in you!
